How to clean grout
To clean nasty grout, all you need is peroxide and baking soda. Make a paste out of them and apply with a toothbrush. Allow the paste to sit for one hour before removing. If you feel that the grout is unsanitary, rub grout with bleach.

Clogged Shower Heads
To unclog shower heads, pour vinegar into a bowl and warm it in the microwave. Next, pour the warm vinegar into a large freezer bag. Put the clogged shower head in the bag seal it. Allow to sit overnight. The next morning take the shower head out of the bag clean it with an old toothbrush to remove the mineral deposits. Rinse shower head in warm water and reattach.

Remove Residue Buildup
Residue can quickly build up in flower vases, jars, and other glass containers. To remove the residue, pour one cup of white vinegar, two tablespoons of salt and raw rice into the glass container. Shake for ten minutes, rinse with cold water.

Cleaning and removing toilet bowl stains
If your toilet bowl is stained or rusty go to the refrigerator and get two cans of cola. Pour the soda into the toilet and let sit overnight ( the acid in the soda will remove the stains.) Give the toilet a good scrubbing and then flush.

Scuff marks
Have scuffs on your flooring that you need to get rid of? A tennis ball on the end of a pole is great for removing scuff marks off hard flooring. Plus, it won’t harm the finish.

Stove Range Hood Screen Cleaning
The easiest way to clean the screen filter on your range hood is to first spray down with a cleaner that has a degreaser in it let it set for ten minutes. next put it in the dishwasher (do not have dishes in dishwasher) and run it through the wash cycle. Be sure to add detergent to the dishwasher. This will give your hood a double dose.

Eliminate Odors from your Refrigerator
To get odors from your fridge, place two containers of used coffee grounds in the refrigerator. To get odors out of your kitchen place two pieces of washed charcoal in a bowl on top of your refrigerator. To remove all odors from your home, fry a bit of cinnamon on the stove.

Use lint rollers to clean lampshades
Use a lint roller, the kind that you just rip off the piece after you are done, and now just use the roller to go over the lampshades.

Expanding Frosting
When you buy a container of frosting from the store, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. you can double its size.

Flexible Vacuum
To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll to your vacuum. it can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.

Measuring Cups
Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don’t dry the cup. Add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes out.
